BWSC PARENT MEETING

ATTENDEES:  Tripson, Altavilla, Lisle, Solenday, Costelnik, Metzler, Brown, Matesic, Munizza, Espy, Kelly, Antenucci, Werner

 

  1. Financial- Club is in good standing with not much money moving at this time.

 

  1. Meet Entries-  Coach Dave will be doing the meet entries for BWSC.  Eligibility reports are available for upcoming swim meets BUT entries are only to be done by email.  DO NOT circle events on the eligibility reports….they will not be entered.  

 

  1. Permits-  BWSC has their permits for the spring for Carrick and February swim calendars are available in mailboxes. Permits have been sent to Baldwin for approval; just waiting for written confirmation.

 

  1. Learn to Swim-  Please notify Lauren if you are able to distribute flyers for learn to swim to your school, library etc.

 

  1. Lifeguarding certification-  Each family is asked to donate $10 towards the purchase of lunch items for this program as well as donate a food or drink item.  Lists are available to sign up for donation.

 

  1. West Virginia Recap-  Once again this year everyone had a great time with some really great swims!

 

  1. Last Splash meet is being held 2 weekends in March….BWSC will opt for March 15 in Montour as first choice.  Please be aware that there is the chance that the club could be bumped to another weekend.

 

  1. An updated listing of upcoming meets was passed out….these are in mailboxes.

 

  1. Summer swim schedule-Registration for summer session will be April 28, 2008.  June 13, 2008 will be our last day at Carrick pool for summer.  Starting June 16, 2008 the schedule will be M-TH evenings 5:30-7:30.  No evening practice on Fridays after June 13th.  Long course  will run M-F from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.; the last day for long course will be the 1st week in August; Long course swimming is on Coach approval only
