BALDWIN WHITEHALL SWIM CLUB, INC.

RULES OF CONDUCT FOR SWIMMERS 

There will be no:

1. Willful damage to premises, walls, floors, doors, bathrooms, etc.

2. Willful damage to furniture and fixtures.

3. Plugging of sinks, drains, toilets, etc.

4. Flicking of towels, taunting or fighting in the pool, lobby area, locker rooms or weight training room;

5. Unauthorized removal of any objects or personal belongings from another’s locker, purse, clothing, gym bag, or other item of personal possession;

6. Insubordination to coaches, officials or BWSC representative in charge for the time being;

7. Display of unsportsmanlike or unsafe behavior;

8. Use of abusive or foul language toward, or in the company of, coaches, fellow swimmers, officials, or BWSC representative in charge for the time being;

9. Use of alcohol, drugs, tobacco or unauthorized medication.

 

Any swimmer breaking one or more of these rules will sustain the following:

a. The First Offense of an action shall receive a written reprimand;

b. The Second Offense will receive a one to five-day suspension from swimming with no meet activity;

c. Continuation of offensive behavior will result in a meeting between the parent and swimmer, and the Executive Board and coaches to determine final disposition.
 

The Executive Board and Coaching Staff reserve the right to dismiss any swimmer from the BWSC who continues to break the Rules of Conduct.
