BOARD MEETING AUGUST 19,2007

ATTENDEES: Lauren Tripson, Alexis Watterson, Sarah Altavilla, Cathy Lisle

BWSC has permits through January 2008 at Carrick

All practices in September will be held at Carrick High School

A monthly calendar will be provided and updated on the website as to which school will have practice on a particular day

All Saturday practices will be held at Carrick

A rough idea of the schedule is that M,W,F will be at Baldwin and TU,TH & FRI will be at Carrick but you MUST check the calendar to verify

The BWSC will hold a Joe Corbi fundraiser from September 24-October 5. Swimmers may use proceeds of this fundraiser to pay on their account.

The BWSC will hold a Swim-a-thon in November.

The AMS has released the new schedule of meets and the BWSC was not awarded the mini meet for this season. Ideas are being tossed around for an Invitational meet or possible clinic at Baldwins new pool in place of this meet.

Knabes will be scheduled to come to fit the swimmers with their new team suits near the end of September.

　

-The BWSC’s address has been officially changed and the process of filling out the tax forms has begun.

-The BWSC will be purchasing a new computer to upgrade the previous one that is 5 years old.

-Ideas were discussed about dedicating some equipment to the new Baldwin Pool, a suggestion being a pace clock.

-Ideas also were discussed about a thank you gift for the Carrick Pool, a suggestion being some towel hooks for the pool deck.

-Coaches rates were reviewed and individual letters will be sent confirming rate increases.

-The BWSC’s brochure will be updated .

- A letter has been sent to the team suspected of having the BWSC’s Vasa Trainers.
